This exciting course introduces you to all the basic techniques to create your own fascinators & headpieces. You will learn how to work with Millinery materials like Sinamay, Veiling and Crin, creating different shapes and styles using patterns and finishing them off using feathers, flowers & embellishments, attaching them to combs and hairband to secure to your head. 

This course is for everyone, no previous experience is required.

Each week students skills will develop, beginning with basic introduction to Millinery and Materials. Learning how to work with materials like Sinamay, Crin, Veiling, Feathers, Flowers, the Bias Strip, Patterns & basic sewing techniques for Millinery.

On the first evening, the tutor will provide advice on where to purchase materials.

There will be no class during the week of mid-term break: Tuesday 18 February.
