| Description: | The purpose of this award is to equip the learner with the skills needed to ensure that adults or children with special needs are able to have the same opportunities to access education as those who do not have special needs. Learners will examine current legislation to explore the different approaches to education that may be available for those with special needs. Days: Tuesday (In class) Duration: 12 week course. Time: 18:30-21:30pm. > Learners are advised to have work experience sorted prior to start date. You will be required to complete 30 hours in a SNA setting. Please note if you are already working as a SNA this may not apply. > On Night one, please ensure you bring Photos ID and proof of address for Garda Vetting purposes. > Any materials required will be an additional cost, however optional Please ensure you have organised Work experience prior to the start date. Level 5 should be completed first |
