| Description: | The beginner's Irish class is aimed at those who have a keen interest in learning the basics in the Irish language. Applicants will have little to no previous knowledge in Irish. The course will focus on the present tense with emphasis placed on pronunciation and functional vocabulary. During the ten weeks, students will be able to form sentences and learn about greetings, describing people, places and things, sharing information about yourself and basic sentences and questions . Upon completion of the course; students will be equipped with the basic skills to communicate effectively in various everyday situations with knowledge on vocabulary for family, shopping, food , drink ,colours and numbers through a range of speaking and listening activities. |
