It would be preferred for a student to have completed level 5 and/or previous experience

The purpose of this module is to equip the learner with the knowledge, skill and competence in the theory and practice underpinning and care of those who present with special educational needs to enable the learner to assist in the provision of this education and care. This is an elective module for Early Childhood Care & Education Level 6.

Students will need to find their own work placement in a Primary, Secondary or Special School for 30 hours
