| Description: | In the run up to Christmas, what better time to show off your sewing skills to family and friends! In this workshop we will create a quilted table runner. Perfect for sitting your Christmas centerpiece on. We will use commonly used quilting blocks, in two different sizes, to create stars in your choice of colours. To make this quilted table runner you will need: 1 Packet of 5â squares in your favourite christmas fabric. (This is known as a charm pack in the quilting world, this will contain 40 x 5â squares, in a coordinated colourway) 1 yard of background fabric. (the stars will be in contrast to the background) ½ metre of coordinating fabric for the binding 2 Metres of backing fabric (This fabric is for the reverse side of the table runner. The runner can be reversible if you like) Wadding (also known as batting) 24â x 72 |
